Terms & Conditions for Real-Time Score (RTScore)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RealTime Score platform, including the website, web application, and progressive web application available at rtscores.com (collectively, the “Service”).

The Service is operated by RTScore, in the Republic of South Africa (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

RTScore provides live sports scores, fixtures, results, statistics, match updates, and related informational content for informational and entertainment purposes only.

RTScore:

  • Is not a gambling operator
  • Does not accept bets
  • Does not facilitate wagering, payments, or betting accounts
  • Does not provide gambling services of any kind

Any sports betting odds or gambling-related content displayed within the Service is informational only and is subject to age and jurisdictional restrictions.

RTScore operates independently and may display advertising or links relating to third-party operators, which operate outside of the RTScore platform.

2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

2.1 General Eligibility

If you are under the age of 18:

  • You may access general sports content
  • You will not be shown gambling-related advertising
  • You will not have access to betting odds or gambling-adjacent features

2.2 Gambling-Related Content

Access to gambling-related advertising or odds is strictly limited to users who:

  • Confirm that they are 18 years or older, and
  • Are located in jurisdictions where such content is lawful

Age confirmation is used solely for content gating and compliance purposes and does not constitute identity verification.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service where misuse or abuse is reasonably suspected.

4. Accuracy, Availability, and Real-Time Data

RTScore makes reasonable efforts to provide timely and accurate information. However:

  • Live data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate
  • Information may change without notice
  • Availability of the Service is not guaranteed

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. RTScore does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You acknowledge that the Service must not be relied upon for decisions where accuracy or timeliness is critical, including financial or betting decisions.

5. Follows, Notifications, and Personalisation

Certain features (including followed teams, notifications, alerts, and preferences) may be stored locally on your device and synchronised with RTScore systems.

These features may not function correctly if:

  • Local storage is restricted or cleared
  • Network connectivity is unavailable
  • Device or browser permissions are disabled

RTScore does not guarantee the delivery, timing, or accuracy of notifications or alerts.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including branding, design elements, text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by or licensed to RTScore.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Data and Services

The Service may include:

  • Data provided by third-party sports data providers
  • Advertisements or links to third-party websites or services

RTScore does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy. Your interactions with third parties occur entirely at your own risk and are governed by their respective terms and policies.

8. Advertising and Commercial Relationships

RTScore may display advertising, including:

  • Non-gambling advertisements for users under 18
  • Gambling-related advertisements for eligible users aged 18+

Advertising content is clearly distinguished from editorial or informational content.

RTScore does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for third-party products or services advertised on the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

RTScore shall not be liable for:

  • Losses arising from reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Service
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, preferences, or settings
  • Any actions taken based on information obtained through the Service

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue use.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

RTScore may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of those changes.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
